Ladies and gentlemen, letís hear it for the greatest, the most wanted, tha thing that goes bump in tha night! I give you: the one and only: Sam B!!

So Sam, welcome! First off, Iím a pretty big fan of yours and Iím absolutely thrilled to have you here in our studio. Please tell us a little about your music career. Are there any highlights youíd like to share with the rest of us?

Let me tell you about the worst gig I ever did. It started out great; A beautiful tropical island, hot women and lots of booze. Man, I was so happy! My hit ďWho do you Voodoo?Ē was on top in all the music charts. I was really the luckiest man on earth.

So, one morning, I woke up with a little bit of a hangover. I was quite hungry so I wanted to go to the hotel restaurant, but when I opened my door, I immediately sensed there was something wrong. The usually brightly lit hallway was dark and suitcases where all over the place. Thatís weird, isnít it? I walked over to the balcony to see if there was anything strange going on outside. I was just thinking the island looked peaceful as ever, when a couple of bodies fell down from the floor above me, right before my eyes. Thatís never a good sign! After that, things went from bad to worse in less time than it takes to shave a completely bald manís head.

To cut a long story short, my trip on this exotic island turned into a really shitty situation. There were zombies all over the place. Luckily, I turned out to be immune to whatever it was that turned them into flesh-eating maniacs, so I decided I would help other people on the island. But damn, those zombies can be though sometimes. When you only have to bash in one zombie brain, thatís no problem. But a complete horde of them? Well sometimes I ran, sometimes I hid and sometimes I was lucky. Being a blunt weapon expert, I can bash my way through just about anything. Among the other survivors there were some other excellent people; Logan can throw anything and make it deadly, Purna is deadly with any kind of gun and Xian is very dangerous with swords and katanas. So everybody got his or her own style, which I think is pretty cool.

Well, sounds like one hell of a gig you did there. Weíre just lucky you made it out alive and that you never had to go through something like that again!

But wait, Iím not done with my story yet. You wonít believe what happened next! Me and the other survivors I just mentioned, survived and we were eventually saved. But then, the ship we were on was again attacked by this rare disease; you know, the one that that turns almost everybody into horrifying freaks with an insatiable appetite for human flesh and a really bad complexion. Yeah, the zombie virus had somehow followed us onto the ship. We actually managed to get shipwrecked on a completely different island, where the whole shit-storm started all over again. And on top of it all, military big shot or something wanted to nuke this island to cover up all the evidence, including me! Man, what are the odds? Let me tell you this; Iím definitely going to ask for my money back for this cruise!

As you should Sam, as you should! Well, I donít know about you, ladies and gentlemen, but I think thatís quite a story, wouldnít you agree?!

If you want to talk about crazy-ass stories, a friend of mine had the craziest story I have ever heard. His cat was kidnapped; or should I say: catnapped?! Of course, he had to go after the damn beast and save it. But once he was out of his house, he quickly discovered that the streets were filled with zombies and other less than hospitable folk. He only had his hands and feet to defend himself, apart from the occasional attribute he found along the way, like a chainsaw or something. It was all so crazy and unique that some guys from a video game studio thought it was perfect material for a videogame.

I played it and it was a tough cookie to crumble, even for me. And I have field experience! Youíll need to time your attacks perfectly and think fast, because those hordes are advancing quicker and quicker every single round. And every time you died, you think: ďCome on, I know I can do this! Ok, just one more round!Ē This stuff is more addictive than drugs and a whole lot more fun, thatís for damn sure! I think maybe I have to talk to those video games developers, because maybe theyíll be interested in my story as well. Theyíll even want to make my very own video game. To be totally honest, I could really use the money, because no matter how much I hate to admit, my music is not what the kids listen to nowadays...

Chin up Sam! Weíre sure that, once the kids have come to their senses, theyíll start listening to your tracks again.

Well, thatís all the time we have for today. We would like to thank Sam B for taking the time to talk to us about his adventures on both islands. We are glad that he survived the zombies and everything and are very happy that the awesome people at Techland and Deep Silver recorded it all for us to see. Sam B has practically said it all; the only thing we would like to add here, is: Thank you for releasing the Dead Island Defenitive Edition & Collection, so we can now enjoy the adventures of Sam B and the other survivors in high definiton! Itís brilliant, itís awesome and we think that, just like Samís adventures, the song ďWho do you VoodooĒ still kicks some serious ass!
