Good merchandise can help to lure people to your booth, right? Well, in my case it certainly helps if there is a cute plush animal in your booth. So naturally I wanted to know more about Zenko Games and their upcoming game, Diamonst.

Diamonst is a location based augmented reality game with turn-based monster fight gameplay. In other words; go outside with your smart phone and defeat other players in a turn-based combat system with all the cool creatures Diamonst has to offer. See them come to life in your real life environment. There will be more then hundred customizable creatures in this game, so more than enough to choose from.

Sounds a bit like Pokemon Go, right? Of course it does and the developers know that. But in my opinion, they used that game as an inspiration and took it to the next level. Because if you're not busy fighting, you can still spend time with your creatures. Pet them, feed them and play with them; in short, all the things you would do with a regular pet.

If you take a look at the story and control mechanics, you'll see that more games have been an inspiration to the developers. Moving will cost Mana, each creature has unique abilities, if a creature dies, the Mana can be used by another creature of the same element and of course the turn-based combat. (Magic, Heathstone and Yu-gi-oh)

Diamonst also contains a Single Player campaign. A meteor storm fell on the Earth, bringing diamond shaped crystals with mythical creatures within them. An Ancient Prophecy tells that if eight pieces of an artifact are reunited, an extreme powerful god monster can be summoned. Now that can only end in tears, so we don't want that to happen, right? An evil cult wants to use this monster to rule the world, so it's up to you to thwart their plans.

And there is more! Diamonst is a fantastic game to set up a public tournament, where players can challenge each other to prove their abilities in face-to-face battle. And there is also an Online multiplayer to test your skills and rank up through online battles. And, as a bonus, you can acquire crystals that contain energy, which you can use to energize your creatures!

big thanks goes out to the awesome people of Zenko Games, who showed us everything there is to know about Diamonst. Mark my words, dear readers, this game could just be the next big thing!
