POKÉMON SWORD & SHIELD: THE CROWN TUNDRA
A wild Pokémon DLC appeared! El Diablo used review! It's super effective! Yes, ladies and gents, boys and girls; The second and, for now, final installment of DLC for Pokémon Sword & Shield has just dropped and I just couldn't wait to see what adventures were waiting for me in the Crown Tundra!
From September 28, we can enter the great world of a Free-to-Play game called Genshin Impact. I also started playing it and I must confess I'm totally hooked! Let me tell you why. Now, I have to tell you upfront that there is so much to do, to unlock and to upgrade, I would need to write a very, very, VERY long review to cover all of it, so I will limit myself to the very cool and, in my humble opinion, outstanding stuff this game has to offer!
FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES - REMASTERED EDITION
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remastered edition (FFCC) is a remaster of one of those niche spin-offs from a bigger games franchise. Everyone has probably played or heard something about one or more of the mainline Final Fantasy games. Square Enix is a big publisher and likes to show off their superiority by 'counting in Latin', so normally each mainline game has a follow-up number. In my book the best ones are VI and VII (I loved the recent FFVII Remake). But now let us take a look at FFCC. This is a game that originally released for the Nintendo GameCube back in 2003. I even found my own physical copy and I felt really nostalgic about it.
FIRE EMBLEM: THREE HOUSES
A little over a year ago, Fire Emblem: Three Houses was released for the Nintendo Switch. Our newest crew member, Mark "Demius" Bronneberg has taken it upon himself to delve into this world of tactical battles and wild characters. Let's see what he makes of it, shall we?

KINGDOM HEARTS III RE MIND DLC
Last year couldn't have started any better as far as I'm concerned, because January 25, 2019 saw the release of the long awaited new installment in one of my favorite game series. Yes, after waiting for what seemed like forever, I was finally able to play Kingdom Hearts III! I was so looking forward to this game and super happy to enjoy a brand new adventure with Sora, Goofy, Donald and all my other well-known friends. And of course I was also curious to see which new Disney characters would make an appearance. I think I speak for all of the fans of the series that we were definitely not disappointed, except when we finished the game and there was nothing left to do.
A long, long time ago, way back in 1999, there was a console called the Sega Dreamcast, which was an awesome piece of machinery featuring a number of cool games. There was one game, however, that defined the Dreamcast. That game was called Shenmue. It defined what games should be like, but after just one sequel, all went quiet on the Shenmue front...
POKÉMON SWORD & SHIELD
Sometimes I dream that I'm standing on a giant meadow, surrounded by rolling hills and hundreds of adoring fans. The sun gleams on my muscles as I raise my hand to the sky, my weapon of choice firmly in my grasp, and the crowd falls silent. I capture them with my rugged good looks and piercing stare and say (in a very manly voice, of course): Alright trainers, listen up! Welcome to the Galar region! I am Pokémon Master Tom and I am here to teach you everything about Pokémon Sword & Shield!
DESTINY CONNECT: TICK TOCK TRAVELERS
Somewhere in the world, there is a town called Clocknee. This town is a very special one, seeing as how it manages to run on its own time. For a while, everything was peaceful and quiet until, one day, things start to shift for this pretty town as machine-like creatures come into play, who seem to have a waaaay different plan than the Clocknee people. And that is where Sherry comes into play!
DISGAEA 4 COMPLETE+
Ever since I got to play Disgaea 1 Complete for the Nintendo Switch, I have been wanting to play more! Enter: Disgaea 4 Complete+! This complete edition includes all of the additional content, such as additional characters, story and other DLC. Basically, it's a complete enhanced remake of Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten!
ALLIANCE ALIVE HD REMASTERED
The Alliance Alive is a turn-based RPG that first came out on the Nintendo 3DS in 2017. As of this October, we can enjoy this game in HD with improved graphics on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC! I am looking forward playing this game so much! I love the vibe of the artwork and the characters all seem so much fun. It brings me back to the days that I first played Final Fantasy 3 and makes me feel positively nostalgic!
Utawarerumono: ZAN is an excellent action brawler game, developed by Tamsoft and published by Aquaplus and NIS America. The game was released on September 10 in the US, on September 13 in Europe and it is set to be released on September 20 in Australia and New Zealand. In Utawarerumono: ZAN, you put together your team and fight hordes of enemies! The game is a retelling of the story of Hakuoro and his friends.
MONSTER HUNTER WORLD: ICEBORNE
A little while back, I played the beta for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and had a lot of wintery monster fun! So, naturally I was looking forward to the full launch of this DLC, which has now finally arrived!

BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT
A few years ago, a man called Koji Igarashi came to Kickstarter with one burning desire. He left his former employer but still wanted to make a game worthy of his legacy. Due to copyright legislation, he couldn't make the game exactly in the style he was famous for, so he decided to make a entirely new game with all the best ideas he worked on in the past mixed into one. 65.000 backers thought this was a very good idea and the monetary goal he needed was truly and utterly dwarfed by the amount of funding he received...
ATELIER LULUA: THE SCION OF ARLAND
Atelier Lulua is the latest sequel in the Arland trilogy and follows the exploits of the daughter of the previous game's main character Ronona. The Atelier series is a big franchise and has many individual games. The main focus of the games is to visit different places in order to gather items which you can use for your alchemy. With this alchemy you can complete quests you've received from villagers and make useful items for battle.
DEVIL MAY CRY 5
Ah, to roam the devastated lands, dispatching demons left and right. There's nothing quite like it, wouldn't you agree? Especially if you're a truly overpowered individual whose prowess in both battle and acrobatics is second to none! Now, some people would give their right arm for an opportunity like that! But, as we will soon find out, you should be really careful what you wish for...
DEATH END RE;QUEST
When an enormous beast came from the sky, the land fell into despair and chaos. Corruption spread throughout the land, violence and thievery became the standard of living. Scores and scores of players all over the world were so ready to play Kingdom Hearts III and I was definitely one of them!
POKÉMON LET'S GO
I have played most of the Pokémon games that are out there, especially since the Pokémon hype among my friends is particularly big. So when Pokémon Let's Go came out, most of my Facebook feed was full of screenshots and fangirls! This got my hands positively itching to play it as well. I have heard a lot of positive feedback about the game; even the sceptics seem to be unable to put down their Nintendo Switch! So let's dive in and, as always, catch 'em all!
When I first applied to join the DumeeGamer team a year ago, I wrote an email explaining why I loved gaming so much. In that same email I talked about how I had been a young boy that desperately needed the (at that time) newly released Nintendo64. Upon reaching the toy store, I saw a Playstation running a fighting game called SoulBlade (the precursor to Soulcalibur), a console adaptation of an arcade game. Long story short, I was hypnotized by this game, went home with a Playstation instead of a N64 and never regretted my decision!
DISGAEA 1 COMPLETE
It has been 15 years since the beginning of the Disgaea series, and what better way to celebrate this than by remastering the very first game in High Definition, yeah! Disgaea 1 Complete includes Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, a game that was first released in 2003 for the Playstation 2. Now, 15 years later, both old and new players can enjoy this game and get (back) into the series!
NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER
Whata! Hiiijaaaa! (sounds of a very expensive vase breaking) Whoops, I'm sorry dear. Yes, you were right. I can't practice my Ninja moves inside the house. But the good news is, I don't have to anymore, because the game of Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker just arrived. So, I'm off to my game room where I will be trying to become the very best Ninja in the entire world!
DRAGON QUEST XI: ECHOES OF AN ELUSIVE AGE
Ah, a new Dragon Quest game. How awesome it will be to take my sword and finish off every evil looking creature, search for hidden mysteries and loot all the treasure boxes in the kingdom. Well, brave as I am, I know no fear, so bring it on, Dragon Quest XI, bring it on!
SHENMUE I & II REMASTERED
Do you remember a time in which we had a console called the Sega Dreamcast? Well, I sure do! This awesome piece of hardware was way ahead of its time, which might well be the reason for its inevitable downfall. Nevertheless, the Dreamcast gave us a number of excellent games, including one that rocked the world of gaming. Why? Well, mainly because it was a game the likes of which had never been seen. A game with a solid plot, awesome graphics, countless gameplay options, a vast open game world, enough characters to fill a large city and dialog up the yin-yang. The game I am rambling on about is, of course, Shenmue!
NIER: AUTOMATA - BECOME AS GODS EDITION
Last year, PC and PlayStation gamers around the world were able enjoy NieR: Automata. Now, 17 months later, it's time for Xbox One owners to get a chance to play this awesome game. Plus, NieR: Automata now comes as a full package with the release of the Become as Gods edition! This edition contains both the original game, plus all its DLC. Reason enough to check it out, don't you think? Swords at the ready? Let's go then!
BAYONETTA DOES THE NINTENDO SWITCH... TWICE!
With Bayonetta 3 on the way which, just like its predecessor, is going to be a Nintendo exclusive, it's time to take another look at the first two games in the series, wouldn't you agree? Well, Nintendo certainly seems to think so because, as of 16 February 2018, we can enjoy both Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 on the Nintendo Switch!
Are you looking for some fame in your life? What about serving a king? That would add some fame, especially if you do a good job! Becoming the King's best friend might sound like a simple task, but I recently experienced that it also comes with huge responsibilities...
MONSTER HUNTER WORLD
What were you doing during the weekend of January 20? I had my whole weekend blocked in my agenda, so I could play Monster Hunter World Beta. And I was not disappointed, so can you imagine my excitement when I heard I was the lucky one of the DumeeGamer.com crew who was to review the final game upon its release!
Now, I know some of you probably think it is most awesome to be a badass and to have your name whispered in fear by people you pass on the streets. And if you say it like this, it does indeed sound awesome! But, what if you're name is tied to a gruesome murder and you wind up in jail for the better part of ten years? If this isn't bad enough, everything you have worked for so far is going down the drain really fast and your best friend is now your worst enemy. So, do you still think being the badass is awesome?
Some families just don't seem to be able to get along. Take the Mishima clan, for instance. Father and son are, even after twenty years, still at each other's throats. Now, I know that their argument is quite a bit more serious than with regular families. You see, Heihachi (the father) killed his wife Kazumi years ago and Kazuya (the son) can't forgive him for that! To make matters worse, Heihachi also decided to throw his son off a cliff...

But, as is often the case in busy entertainment districts, these promises are merely a façade behind which sorrow, heartbreak and violence lurk in the shadows. The Kamurocho district is bustling with people, chasing the promises made by the electric whispering of the neon lights that illuminate its streets. Promises of good times, wealth and love. But, as is often the case in busy entertainment districts, these promises are merely a façade behind which sorrow, heartbreak and violence lurk in the shadows...
POKÉMON SUN & MOON
The 7th generation of Pokémon is finally upon us, and boy what a long wait it was. But that shows exactly how much Pokémon means to its fans; whenever a new game and especially a new generation is announced, the fans (including myself) jump aboard the hype train!
FINAL FANTASY XV
Do you hear what I hear? It's the song "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King. It's coming from my TV and I see four guys having the greatest and most exciting adventure of their lives. There is a smart nerdy guy, one is sort of a doofus, one guy has the muscles for the dirty work and the fourth is naturally selected by the group to be the leader. What? You think I'm watching the Stephen King movie Stand by Me? Nope, you guessed wrong. I'm playing Final Fantasy XV!

GOD EATER 2: RAGE BURST
This August, the moment was finally here: it was time for the North American and European release of God Eater 2: Rage Burst for PS Vita, Playstation 4 and Microsoft Windows! Yay, big party for me! I was looking forward to this game from the moment it popped up as a recommendation on Steam, while I was checking out other games. Normally I would ignore those kind of advertisements, but this game looked so good, it just couldn't be ignored...
STAR OCEAN: INTEGRITY AND FAITHLESSNESS
Spacedate 537... At this point in history, between the second and third games in the series, the Pangalactic Federation is nearing the fulfilment of its mission to bring peace and order to the galaxy. However, the embers of conflict begin to stir once again six thousand light years from Earth, on the planet of Faykreed, as a new story begins in the cosmic sea.

On June 17, NIS America, Monochrome Corp. and Spike Chunsoft have released Grand Kingdom for the PS4 and PS Vita in Europe and North America. While our gaming brethren in Japan were already able to play since November 19, 2015, we had to wait for another 7 months before we could sink our teeth into this majestic Tactical RPG, filled with cool characters and epic turn-based battles.
Indivisible, Lab Zero's next big thing is truly amazing! Last month, Lab Zero and 505 Games launched a crowdfunding campaign, including a playable prototype of the game for those willing to experience this brand-new journey.

I have to be totally honest with you; I haven't played the last few entries in the ‘Tales of' series. Nevertheless, I was really eager to get hands-on with the latest installment in the series: Tales of Zestiria!
In a world where there are more than enough fighting games to choose from, being different isn't always good. fortunately Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a welcome addition to the already well established fighting game genre and its big hitters.
DRAGON QUEST HEROES: THE WORLD TREE'S WOE AND THE BLIGHT BELOW
This review was a face-off between Kevin "Methodone89" van Dongen and Ferry "Sadhonker" Adams. Although they both raced to finish it, Kevin won. Admitting defeat, the only thing left for Ferry was to bow to Kevin's ultimate awesomeness! Well played, sir... well played!
SAINT SEIYA SOLDIERS' SOUL
Saint Seiya was once a popular Manga series, back in the 80's. It even managed to be a decent Anime series in the 90's. So I guess that only leaves one question: does the latest Saint Seiya video game honor the franchise as it should?
SAMURAI WARRIORS 4-II
Kevin "Methodone89" van Dongen decided to walk the path of the samurai. Strong, focused, always aware of his surroundings he went into battle in feudal Japan. But he's not alone... this time, he's accompanied by his horse-riding, square-button-mashing girlfriend. Will this dynamic duo be able to come out victorious? Read on and find out...

Afro Samurai already was an amazing Manga, Anime and also had a pretty decent first video game. All these things make Afro Samurai a unique and worthy franchise!
ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3
So… let's start this review with a confession: I have never, ever watched a One Piece episode in my life, nor did I play any of the previous One Piece games. Is this a bad thing? Well, all you One Piece fans out there would probably say “YES”. But, since Pirate Warriors 3 offers the full story from the start I'm going to disagree with you...
ONECHANBARA Z2: CHAOS
Blood drenched hack and slash gaming? Zombies?? Women with huge... ehm... personalities and small bikinis?! Damn, where can I get this game? Well, we were lucky enough to recieve a copy of this game from our friends at NIS America during our visit to their booth at GamesCom 2015. So let's get down to its bloody core and see what this game is all about!
CELESTIAN TALES: OLD NORTH
There I was, all alone in my dungeon building monsters, killer traps and various other nasty things, when my all seeing orb blinked: I had received a mail from the boss. Hmm, an offer to review a RPG game that she thought would be right up my alley. Well, I did have some time left in-between killing heroes, conquering the world and generally being evil, so I decided to just give it a try. Let's play Celestian Tales: Old north.
NEKOBURO: CATS BLOCKS
Our story takes place on a distant planet in the Universe of NekoBuro. It's a story about a fantastic electric wave life featuring the Square Cats; a whimsical group of aliens. Is this already weird enough for you? In that case, just wait until you get a load of the questionably translated comic-like cutscenes.
TOBARI AND THE NIGHT OF THE CURIOUS MOON
There I was, just relaxing in my dungeon, planning the demise of a fresh set of adventurers when I saw a twinkle of magic hovering in my magical glass orb. So join me as I play Tobari and the Night of the Curious Moon.

UNDER NIGHT: IN-BIRTH - EXE:LATE
Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late is a hidden gem in the 2D fighter genre, that is often overshadowed by the towering Champions of said genre. It has its own unique style and characters, and that's exactly what sets it apart.
